Would be nice if Amarin's strategy all along was to starve out its generic competitors before a growing interest in its product worldwide increases its sales and relevance in the United States. Generics were stupid to leap into the market before Amarin could grow sales, ruining the party for everyone, not to mention destroying some lives and families through heart attacks and strokes that might have been avoided with Vascepa.
