Phone conversation with Doug today
I had a great conversation with Doug this morning. His excitement over the progress of the company literally reaches right through the phone line. I could feel the energy. First I commended him on the fantastic annual report. If you haven't looked at it yet you definitely need to. It is on the Struthers website http://www.struthersinc.com/ . In his enthusiasm he was speaking rapidly and I tried to take as many notes as possible but could not keep up with all that he said. First he mentioned how successful Dr. Gourley's trip in the Philippines was going. There is great demand for the TendurPrime and the semen. We have access to 100,000 sows. Packers in the entire Pacific Rim are showing a great deal of interest. They have had problems with diseases and are anxious to obtain our disease free lines. Deals selling our meat are incredible. They are exceeding expectations. The semen sales are great. It is breeding season or breeding season was coming up. He was working on a PR today. He did not say when it would be released. He said his reputation is on the line for the shareholder meeting. Being on the Pinks will not stop him from discussing what we are doing. He stated there would be more people added to the board of directors but not until off the pinks. To do it now would necessitate we refile with SEC. He definitely did not want to complicate that process. He said adding directors could be done on the quarterlies. He does not want to amend the form now. Struthers will be creating a cookbook. In the celebrity section Martha Stewart will be featured along with others with their recipes, there will be a shareholder section of recipes. Struthers will sell mixes for recipes on the web along with the meats. The website will be launched by the S/H meeting. The Gourley scope is rented out and $5 is charged per sow and $5 charged per catheter. 100,000-sow herd in Philippines wants the system. Much discussion going back and forth between Philippines and Struthers working on an agreement. Doug is looking forward to meeting everyone at the meeting. He will be on the cruise. There will be media Saturday evening doing interviews with Doug during the social hour that starts at 5:00 and during the dinner. This conversation strengthened my already strong beliefs of where we are going. PIGS WILL FLY
