This is exactly why the shareholder letter was misguided (in part). If Lebby couldn’t guarantee the deals would close by year end (or immediately thereafter) he should have kept his mouth shut. This is where you can see that he is very unskilled at managing communications in a publicly traded environment.

Now, everyone (except the Kool-Aid Kids) are wondering what happened. Did something go wrong? Did the deals fall apart? Does the tech not meet the customers’ needs?

No one knows; but it’s just another data point of doubt that creeps into the market - one that already thinks this company is full of shit.
