Yeah... and that link you posted was from the early days of hotdogging/freestyle skiing... could have been at a mogul comp.
Timeframe--late '60's to early '70's, for sure.
I haven't seen Scott Kauf or his bro Paul for years. Paul was along on two full week heli skiing trips -1982-3. We (9-10 of us) had the whole chopper to ourselves.. they named us the Seattle Yetis--we skied 17 first descents over two years) RoboKauf remains, imo, one of the all time great mogul skiers. His daughter Jaelen has had a resurgence on the Freestyle World Cup this season with one or two victories. She has quite the pedigree as her mom Patty Sherman was also the best for a couple years.
Meanwhile, real skier Mikaela Shiffrin, one of the G.O.A.T.'s in any sport, ever, is now up to 95 WC victories. Me, I'm a back country, powder kind of guy. But I did win one or two "national" races.... ski media, that is...
