While I certainly agree with everything you're saying here, I do have to add one slight discordant note:
I think the TIMING of the government/military general trusted computing (and/or Wave-specific) stuff is still a couple of quarters off on the horizon.
I wish it weren't. But that's the way I'm researching it, at least.
Needless to say, I would be very happy to be wrong about this.
That said, I somehow don't think that Hakim is gonna end up walking or working that part of the waterfront. After all, the Wave boards have been REALITY (or surreality, depending upon your view) TV before there was such a thing for over a decade now. Where's FrenchBikini when we need her? Where's Malagulu? We've had lawsuits threatened; individuals and businesses threatened; the anxiety-ridden CPA-induced weekend after his "big discovery" which turned out to be a bit of a dud; we've had the RUMOR that Dell was about to drop Wave... which caused paroxysms of delight on the Yahoo!-ligan board; and so it goes.
