The only thing I might add is in the MMs redefining their “value added” I’m inclined to guess they are so used to the easy money from questionable practices that they will pare down the easy to prosecute shenanigans and concentrate on the harder to prosecute shenanigans. They probably feel they “are” the market and with their power and money corrupting absolutely an entitlement psychology dominates imo.
