As long as the AHA keeps telling doctors that high trigs are a risk and need to be treated, they're going to keep handing out one of the cheapest drug available to lower trigs to their patients. It's not the FDA, or insurance companies. It's the industry "experts". Amarin either needs to figure out how to change that belief, or get a biomarker of their own established on the standard lipid blood panel everyone gets when they go to the GP so Dr's work to treat a stated condition by Rx'ing V instead of hopeful prevention.
