I predict no upside surprises today. We’ll get 28-30 densely packed slides that Missling will have to fly through (or I should say stumble through) to stay within the 20-25 minutes allotted for presentations.

The cream of the crop of investors has already left San Francisco. If JPM though Anavex would get a lot of investor interest, they’d have given Anavex a presentation slot on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

I’m not even sure why Anavex gets an invitation to present at the JPM conference or why Anavex would agree to an end-of-conference slot. Anavex is not a story that would appeal to large institutional investors. A better forum for Anavex would have been Biotech Showcase given the typical audience for that conference but you have to pay to present there.

Maybe we’ll get a surprise out of left field but I don’t think so.
