Try to imagine that you are a physician trying to do a CGI-I evaluation over Zoom, not able to see much useful, and recording (again) "no change." Then imagine you are the CRO noting that neither the dosed nor placebo groups change over the 12 weeks. (I am exaggerating a bit here to demonstrate the point.) That would be an inevitable endpoint fail, based on loss of signal.
