As you know I was heavily trading 15min charts back in 4Q. I had one chart set up with extended hours and one without. What I learned was that the extended hours chart gave very unreliable signals. This is another way of saying ON price movement is not worth watching except out of interest.
BYW, all I have been using this week is SSE. I set up a good watchlist and I am happy with my screens.
I setup to withdraw all of my remaining cash from IB yday morning. They held it up for a few hours before letting it go through. What jerks. They were also a day late in paying SPXL dividend. I am beginning to think they have some issues.
I sold half of my stake in SWVXX Tues and put it all into SGOV yday to get ready for the Thur morning pop. SGOV typ up $.01 each day, but pops big time at the Thur open. Up $.05 at the open. The 7 day rate for SWVXX is 5.25%, SGOV paid 5.65% last week. I made a big purchase on 12/21 (a Thur) and I am paying for that, 13 day interest only 3.7%. What I did yday will more than make up for that.
Oh, here is another good one. I spend a couple of days over the weekend getting all my excel files setup for 2024. Lots of moving stuff around and coping formulas. When I finished one of my files was really jamming up my computer. Anytime I made a change, it was taking my computer about 5 secs to respond to the change. I discovered the problem yday. I have been trying to learn how to use the ctrl key plus the arrow keys to navigate my spread sheets. In doing so I managed to copy some formulas all the way to the bottom of the spread sheet. Guess where that is, 1,048,576 rows. Killed the formulas and everything is running normal.
