Dr. Vin Gupta , a Seattle clinical pulmonologist affiliated with Amazon Health, was on CNBC-TV at 11:20 this morning being interviewed on the future of healthcare in 2024. I missed some of what he said. I did hear that AI-based awareness and access to patient data bases ROW will help reduce costs of diagnostics in an era when hospital admissions and related costs are continuing to rise. Finding/Getting the correct medicine for the patient was emphasized. Keeping patients with potential or actual CVD conditions out of hospitals by reducing the risk of a first or further CVD event is a purpose of Vascepa, IMO.
