You don’t understand or appreciate how damaging missing timelines is to credibility and how credibility is the most important asset you can have when it comes to investors, potential partners, and regulators. “Materiality” is besides the point. Savvy investors understand that science is inherently risky and sometimes things go south. Investors are more forgiving of the occasional trial failure or missed timeline if they believe management is clear and honest in its communications. Nobody expects 100% achievement of every stated objective. 80% is good for most objectives but not 10%.

Missling needs to go and a credible CEO with a track record of success needs to be hired if Anavex is to gain credibility with investors, potential partners, and regulators. It’s just that simple.
