Thats because since the ASM Dr Lebby has given us nothing new to talk about. The NDA deal fizzled out after a few weeks and no follow-up so far. How long can you talk about the new lab opening ? Besides Lebby stating he is working hard on closing deals by the end of the year which now looks like a no go, which is not a shocker if you been here for a while ,we have nothing to discuss. I just remember Lebby stating 2023 was going to be an exciting year for LWLG with many catalyst. Swing and a miss.
Someone posted yesterday that the board basically fabricated timelines and expectation not Dr Lebby which could not be further from the truth. Everybody already knows the missed goals and timelines. The most recent was Lebby stating he was trying to close deals by the end of the month but no GAURANTEE. Why even make that statement and just wait till the deal is done ? We already know he is working 100% on deals that was posted a 1,000 times and now he is working hard on deals. Working hard or working smart ? Just because you hold Lebby accountable for his goals and timelines does not make you a basher or short.
They have always talked a big game going back to Marcelli but always seem to fumble on the one-yard line. Remember all those great saying ?We are on the one yard line- the fuse is lit-- strap on your seatbelts etc. Being invested since the beginning and most likely shortly after X patience is an understatement. I would have been happy if they just nailed 50% of their goals/timelines the past couple years.
