Viking Services was purchased from Transatlantic for 180 million in 2012, at the time Transatlantic was run by N Malone Mitchell the 3rd, who liked the Viking Services company so much that his private family partnership (Dalea Partners of Dallas) bought 50% of Viking for $90 million, and the Abraaj Group bought the other 50% for another $90 million. Following the purchase, Abraaj sold part of it's share to the BXR Group, which includes a private hedge fund in Budapest (ie, possibly why the Hungarian flag proudly flies at the front gate of the Zion Oil Megiddo worksite?).

I don't know how much the Dallas billionaire participates in the running of Viking, but I did notice his son, Noah M. Mitchell the 4th, was at one time listed on the Viking Services email list as the Director of Business for Viking Services. They keep a low profile, but stuff does leak out on the Internet (if you bother to look).
