More directly Anavex is probably too small to sustain an EMA approval campaign and an FDA NDA campaign at the same time without any revenue. Throwing in a TGA approval campaign is completely impossible. The one break-away shot on goal is the EMA AD Marketing Approval. My guess is TGD saying "Rett's is first", played on the EU EMA's mind. This was right when the financial impact of the insane prices and other expensive alternative required items, (all paid for by the EU's various national healthcare schemes) were registering with the EMA. This likely made the EMA want the Blarcamesine alternative.
