Gary have you ever worked in a hospital? I'm not talking about being a patient in a hospital. I have worked my entire career in a hospital. The average staff lab person and nurse in a hospital do not have the training to deal with complex systems like we are talking about. The error rate is actually quite high in the hospital setting. I have seen specimens get lost (believe it, it happens), get mislabeled, get left under tables in the OR, get accidentally thrown out. Imagine coming in for a breast biopsy and the specimen is lost? I've seen it happen more than once. Now imagine that was your brain tumor and you had one go of it.

These specimens will be carefully received by a company rep, carefully packaged, carefully labeled, carefully frozen, carefully transported, then carefully processed by expert personal at a highly controlled, centralized location. There is absolutely ZERO room for error. This is the only way this will be done.

Do you know that if you come in for a joint replacement, there is a company rep in the operating room for every single case, handing the joint prosthesis to the nurse to hand off to the sterile field. It is the same for any complex surgery. There is a company rep right there for every single patient, every single case, whenever the case is complex and when ever there is no room for error.

My guess is that NWBO will partner or be bought out. I'm hoping they partner. You will need Big Pharma with a large trained staff to handle the tumor from surgeon, to operating room technician, to the nurse, and then directly to a company rep. for proper packaging and transport There is absolutely zero chance that this is left solely to the hospital staff and the laboratory staff in the facility.
