A new group of land owners today in Maricunga made up of slightly smaller (than us) lithium miners is now proposing a "newer/next-gen" grass roots JV to mine the lithium in this #2 largest salar in Chile apparently to be led by RJR Salar and Raúl del Barrio, CEO of RJR Salar, spokesperson for the small miners of Maricunga.

And I will bet big money that SIMCO/Simbalik (ie Javier Errázuriz) is talking with RJR already.

If this new JV Cooperativa can next entice either BYD or Tianqi (instead of Aramco) to 100% (or even 50%) join their organization/JV/Cooperative "financially" along with SQM or preferably the Julio Ponce 5-children Family (for bulk land mass and retired lithium processing equipment from Atacama as their equity into the the "deal")... then it is a whole focking new ballgame in Maricunga ladies and gentlemen probably looking to be solidified before February 1, 2024 I would bet. Now imagine what this new grass roots JV Coopertiva could then do with our LPI project lands (ie the Lithium Mother Lode) incorporated into the bigger macro picture.
