You still don’t get it. it’s one thing to paint a nice picture for the future. It’s quite another in a shareholder letter meant to tell your own shareholders what you accomplished during the year, you say you accomplished something when in reality that something didn’t happen for another eight months.

Only a biased person would say he didn’t make it sound like it had already happened, or that he had expected no delay. He knew when he wrote that letter it could be another eight months, and yet he made it sound like it had already occurred.

I don’t want a CEO to “promote” their accomplishments in that manner, and anyone who is ok with that needs to have their head examined. It causes one to wonder- what else might they have “promoted” as already having happened in the most recent shareholder letter?
