One thing we know for sure is that whoever has signed the commercial deal with LWLG has received their first shipment of PERK.

It highly unlikely they will be making their own devices in their own lab.
The likelihood is that a “qualified” foundry will be manufacturing the devices for this first commercial client using the PDK established by Lightwave and this foundry. I don’t see any other way around this.

All this talk about qualifying a PDK for production purposes and acceptance by foundries falls to pieces when commercial deals are signed and the PERK is sent off for production purposes and expected revenues will come in from the sales of the products sold.

I won’t engage in speculation about what qualified might mean and what “signing off by foundries” might mean (created nonsense by some poster) that ignores the obvious truth that the first products are going to be manufactured at a foundry and items sold to a client through PDK’s developed by Lightwave and a foundry.

I stand by the statement that the PDK’s are “operational” and because they are, somebody is about to use a foundry with an operational PDK to make devices that will be sold.

This is fundamental….. you order PERK and then use it to manufacture products to be sold. The only PDK’s that are operational are in 2 foundries ….. foundry A in USA and Foundry D in Europe.

Best to longs.
