Liau is a great surgeon whose treatment doesn't work as a standalone therapy. She proved that with the P3. She is among the many doctors who tried to develop a treatment that didn't work. Most treatments don't or we'd already have cures for most cancers. Why do you think they are doing combo trials now and not curing all these people with L? Because it doesn't work and is expensive and invasive.
