Ask yourself why a FDA CMC reviewer would quit his decent FDA job with annual salary over $150k and join Oncovir which has no commercial product.

The cost of living the DC Metro area is awful and $150,000 even with benefits is not that impressive a salary for someone with the ability to earn a lot more in the private sector. Someone with that level of ability and training will be able to find a job and so the incentive to take a lower salary in exchange for job security is not there especially if the salary does not really meet expenses.
