So if Invidia only wanted to pay 100 Million the board would simply say no. You are trying to price this as if they have current sales. You need to look at the entire picture, not Just the 2km to 10km Single mode Modulator market. You need to add in Lidar. You need to add in Sensing. You need to add in Gaming. You need to factor in Military applications, you need to factor in Space applications. You need to factor in the value of data moving at 3 times the speed. You need to factor in 1/10 of the electric, you need to factor in the cost of eliminating the driver. You need to factor in cooling saving. And the killer app that I am just beginning to comprehend is the additional space made available because it is 1/30th the size.

Ted is trying to price this a 1 trick pony that hasn't came to market yet. Yes some older companies are priced this way. But Lightwave has the Patents in place to proceed in the areas I listed above and license out the technology.

X The new lab is in place it has been in the foundry for 2 years with good results. It typically takes a couple years for a foundry to complete something new.
