I have a family member whose life was turned upside down on a false accusation . The courts were not allowed to hear of her 6 previous attempts. In my case the new girlfriend decided to just move in after 3 weeks of dating and then eventually also forgot to mention the 2 kids she only had access to under court supervision.

It impacted me as I loaned him $10k he needed to help legal fees . Judge threw out charges and scolded her.

BUT that is the exception for sure. I realize this. Pretty sure the dozen women and their kids that just moved in to a new shelter not far from me are not making anything up but hopefully a lot of the stuff we gathered up and dropped off will help a little bit
