This is is not medical advice. You two guys should try curcumin patches. Even though they are systemic, I’ve noticed the closer they are to the site of injury/inflammation, the better they work. Have someone clean the site with rubbing alcohol and place a patch next to the spine — alternating each day.

It’s subtly powerful, and I’ve noticed those are the hardest treatments to be regimented about. I place a large bandaid over the top of each one to make certain they don’t start peeling off.

If you are obese by bmi standards, try to get down to at least a couple pounds below obese. Ten below is preferable.

You are fighting both structural damage and consequent inflammation. Curcumin and weight loss can mitigate inflammation, and weight loss can slightly minimize structural pressures. Of course hydrate, and get good sleep.

Sit less, work on posture (gradually) and strengthen core.

If you take a break from them, try tiger balm patches (short term) on the days you don’t use curcumin patches.

Talk with your doctor before trying these things. I believe curcumin can thin blood slightly.
