I would just like to see them current.

Not filing is a choice. The excuse is gone (IST) unless he wants to be in the expert market for some reason?

Maybe he thought they were going to launch last time they were in it (which lasted like 2 months or so) seemed like forever..

Maybe they are close and want to cause some excitement and a major run leaving the everyday traders and possibly those manipulating it in the dust. Posible that the last chance average joes had to buy cheapies was that little time between pink and EM? Who knows, but people aren't selling and don't seem to be scared.

Not filing just seems intentional to me.
