lj: Many people will shop for Christmas no matter what their economic situation is. Interest on credit card purchases will be astronomical in Q1 2024. Consumer spending might fall off of the proverbial cliff.
Visited a shopping center with a Target and a Kohl's, and traffic was no different than on any other day.
It seems most shopping is online now.
There is an extra week for Christmas shopping this year, since Thanksgiving is early.
