At the VERY least, Linda, include a sincere, direct, heartfelt apology to the shareholders for failing to do what YOU TOLD THEM you were going to do.

No but’s or other qualifying words. Just a simple, “I told you something would happen and I utterly failed to make it happen. The responsibility is mine and mine alone. I apologize and I will work harder to make this right.”

The shareholders deserve it after YEARS of losing money on you and excusing you for it.
