OTC traders are smart enough to sell at least SOME into every pump, which de-risks the trade and lowers their average. Then they dump them all when it turns against them.

Anyone who's been in OTC for more than a year knows to not just buy & hold & hope & pray forever cuz that requires winning the lotto just to be made whole.

Also when trading downtrenders, in the absence of meaningful moves, it often makes sense to wait for Oct/Nov tax-loss selling before considering a re-entry.

Waiting for a catalyst ain't the worst thing in the world...
