Not sure about Anavex? Read the Examples.

A2-73 is a useful therapeutic in the treatment of humans suffering from insomnia, anxiety or agitation.

Are the Anavex sigma-1 receptor agonist (activator) molecules really useful? Are they real? Can they actually yield important and positive therapeutic outcomes in people with Alzheimer’s and/or have debilitating sleep disturbances? In the patent application, take the time to read for yourself the ten examples of patients treated with the Anavex molecules.

Resolution of sleep disturbances, deficiencies, or disruptions is extremely important in the treatment of Alzheimer's. Sleep deficiencies are either causes or symptomatic complications of Alzheimer's. Understand, the major reason that virtually all animals sleep is to give time to allow maintenance processes to essentially clear from the nervous system chemical wastes in neurons and nerves. During sleep most of the body's organs and organ systems are energetically turned down. They do, indeed, rest. Not so, however, in the central nervous system. During sound sleep, the metabolic activity of the brain and spinal cord is as active (energetic) as when awake. Simply, lots of energy is used during sleep to remove from nerve tissues every sort of chemical waste; including amyloid plaques. If they accumulate, aren't removed by normal autophagic (cell-keeping) processes (primarily at night, during sleep), Alzheimer's symptoms set in; with a lethal trajectory. Unless something can restore normalized sleep physiology --- exactly what the Anavex sigma-1 activating molecules do. Anavex is applying for a patent for their proprietary process.
