$AMRN Hello, today I submitted my PA appeal letter to my TRICARE Provider to cover my Rx Request for branded VASCEPA over the generic versions. My doctor's PA was denied because the PB Committee had determined that it did not meet their requirement for being "medically necessary". As patients we must be our own best advocates when practitioners are either too busy or undereducated in providing our healthcare needs. I don't know if this appeal will be accepted, but I wanted to share it with you as a template should you be confronted with a resistant provider.
