DoD Emall Facts: (reposted)
I'm amazed that Cyberkey still has the DoD Emall logo prominent on it's homepage and that link continues to be pumped on the CKYS board, as if orders are pouring through every day !

DoD Emall is open only for Military customers, or authorized Government customers, NOT the general public. People need to get their facts straight.

Purchases are made by authorized customers using a Government Purchase Card (also referred to as an IMPAC card).

An IMPAC card holder can also use his card at local businesses, such as Staples or Office Depot. I'd bet that at least 95% of all purchases are made this way. If a unit needs something, they don't want to deal with mail order waits. They simply go downtown.

Even if somebody wants to purchase a CyberKey product via DoD Emall, the ARO (After Receipt of Order) shipping times range from 21 - 45 days. Basically, this is not a conduit to get excited about. But you should draw your own conclusions. In my opinion, this is more of a marketing scheme than a revenue producer.

Disclaimer: My post very similar to this was deleted on the other board a few weeks ago, but since folks seem to be getting excited about the Emall now, I thought I'd repost it.

My opinions are mine, your level of DD is yours, always !
