Sometimes I buy a chuck roast and cut it up for beef stew and sometimes I grind up the roast for burger, way cheaper. I keep several chuck roasts in the freezer, of course the roast is easier to cut up or grind if it is semi frozen.
OK, rat out time, LOL I put a chuck roast in the cork a couple of weeks ago with the usual, taters, onions yada yada yada. I has put in 5 cut up carrots, they were cut in about 1 1/2 inch pieces, Guess how many carrots I got as I was the last to eat? 1 stinking piece, "oh, I thought you didn't like carrots" That's their story and they're sticking to it, LMAO Note to self, Next time at least double the carrots.
