I’m not certain validation of automated manufacturing is considered a standard clinical trial, so I’m not certain your critique is accurate. Still, I think it is experimenting in the more broader sense, and therefore, it may be those patients receiving the automated version, until validated and licensed, will get it for free, whereas those receiving the manual manufactured version may not. This is admittedly just my intuitive sense, and I certainly could be mistaken.
