NRDC- your characterization of ML as an abysmal CEO is an opinion, but in fact is a horrible one at that. The primary objective of a CEO- and yes I do work with many public and private ones, is to drive shareholder value. Period. Why don’t you do the analysis of the SP when he took over and where it is now. All without any sales, which is a product of their industry and their place in time within the lifecycle of their products and the industry. They’ve created something no one before them could. ML has driven this company to a massive patent moat, a celebrated tiny company along the giants of the industry, had constructed a world class advisory board and hired incredible talent around him. Marcelli? OK, CFOs rarely make a difference in pre revenue companies yet to be fair, he’s done this with zero debt and tolerable dilution which isn’t horrible. Yeah sure maybe a better CFO should be there. But, he did this with all with small shops and not the big boys on the street. Abysmal is a terrible description. Yes, he might be better ultimately as a CTO, but the strides this company has made UNDER HIS WATCH, is astounding IMO. I agree, no revenue sucks right now, but what else could this man have done to advance this any faster than where we are at? You are accomplished and intelligent no doubt and no disrespect. But you’re wrong about him in this characterization. You need a geek selling to geeks at this stage. I see it every day. Someone who talks the talk and walks the walk. A non technical CEO here would be abysmal. Lebby may flame out in disgrace or stand alongside the giants. We shall see. I bet the latter, but that’s the fun in hanging around a pre revenue tech company. If you’re so disgruntled, sell. All this is IMHO. Peace out.
