LWLG Diamond Patent was allowed 1 Nov 23. Administrative/processing time should see the actual patent granted in early spring 24, lets say mid March 24.

This was Application number 17/358960: "Nonlinear Chromophores Having a Diamondoid Group Attached to , Methods of Preparing the Same, and Uses Therof."

A lot of back and forth, but ultimately multiple claims were allowed. As a reminder , the diamondoid groups attached to the chromophore allow for long term stability, an increased chromophore loading inside the polymer matrix, and decreased aggregation (clumping) of chromophores so that they can remain evenly dispersed throughout the polymer. IE better performance all around.
