I thought so too

As long as GulfSlope remains open for business (and open to M&A opportunities) it’s still a viable speculative play, IMO

They are required to announce anything material such as a signed contract

But they’ve never issued a PR for.fluff and I don’t see that changing

For now, all that’s available is the narrative in the latest 10-Q, they’re working on an opportunity which may, or may not, include a partnership that includes producing properties

The pressure on the domestic oil & gas producers is just insane given the current global climate

That’s got to change, and it will

The same country that attached limpet mines to a crude carrier not very long ago is ramping up their proxy war through Yemen

The chances that they’ll settle down is near zero in my view

And oil is their favorite leverage

You couldn’t pay me enough to be aboard a tanker transiting the straits of Hormuz as long as this war is ongoing

A side note -I believe it is propaganda but there’s an active rumor that Putin died a couple days ago after a months.long decline

Of course there was a similar rumor about the little rocket man in North Korea a couple years ago

We’ve officially gone from the “information age” to the “disinformation age”

The frequency of demonstrable falsehoods on major news channels is staggering

I call it “idiot food”

At least we’re getting a 10-Q soon for GSPE

If not, I will be concerned a lot more

For now, I am holding a bunch
