Many posters on this board are trying to convince folks that Lightwave's story is just a rerun of the TV series Arrested Development. They say commercialization is years away as there is so much more for them to do but they ignore what Dr. Lebby tells members in the industry and shareholders.

At the recent ECOC meeting, during his presentation on "Commercializing electo-optic polymers", he talked stability, 800G modulators, licensing models and his takeaway was "We are developing prototypes for trial and reliability testing". Lightwave is at the stage of working with one or more transceiver partners to offer prototype designs for potential customers to sample in their own systems. This requires working on package designs that customers want that can easily plug into their systems. This does take time for development and the testing. It is unclear exactly where they are in the process but it likely has started. This fits in Dr. lebby's forcast for 2024 being the year of shipping LWLG powered transceivers. If you are a shareholder it means being patient over the coming months as we know development takes time. There should be news at some point on partnering deals with foundries prior to news of devices being ready for sale. Dr. Lebby said we can perhaps see another deal or two in 2023. In the meantime we neeed to be patient with a share price that is low due to timing uncertainty.
