I think you are both right…

Every one blames prior management as the results were sh*t. Share price performance under current management is even worse.

- Did prior management ever say a sale of AMRN to a BP was off the table?
- Did AMRN previously have a M&A subject matter expert on their BoD?
- Did anyone think an AMRN buy-out at a healthy price per share was all but in the bag if Sarissa won the proxy fight?

Here are the realities as I see it…

- We all want to make a metric f*ck ton of money and we want it now.
- Organic growth is moving at a glacial pace and the clock is ticking on patent exclusivity.
- The Pb (lead) in the asses of government healthcare agencies is substantially heavier than the Pb (lead) in the asses of AMRN. Both are very heavy.
- There is inherent spend inefficiency in having just a single product.
- No BP is willing to touch AMRN with a ten foot pole (from a buy-out perspective) at present.
- Growth trajectory is too slow.
- Negative earnings.
- Loss of patent exclusivity.
- GIA for now is the best or only option. Prior management knew it. Current management knows it now.
- Waiting for the Brave study results.

Sarissa appealed to the greed in all of us by making assertions that things would be different. Well things are most certainly different…
- Share price is is down more than 60% since the proxy fight.
While we’ll never know if the share price would have been higher / same / lower under prior management, more thing are the same…
- No buyout (against the expectations sold to us by Sarissa).
- GIA
- Unhappy investors
- A fervent defense by some members on this board to defend their decision to elect a new BoD.

DMiller is right. It looks a lot easier as an outsider looking in. Perhaps words of wisdom we should all reflect on as outsiders.
