Now you put a heavy-duty truck charging system out there, and (by some estimates) truck stops of the future will need as much power as NFL stadiums. So there are lot of factors to overcome. A hydrogen or electric truck is $450,000 to $500,000 and you can buy a diesel truck for $140,000, so you’re buying three trucks against one – and diesel emissions are 98% less than they were 15 years ago.” “No one can afford to buy a $500,000 truck”.
