What it shows is that most politicians are in the pockets of thieves and Washington represents the very worst of society. Greed and power is what these politicians seek. Americans should look at all those politicians opposing this bill and vote them out of office but unfortunately the type that often pursue political office are to easily consumed by greed and power. There are far too few empaths taking on these roles of responsibility where the most important criteria is the love of your fellow humans. All humans seeking any type of office where their mission is to serve should be screened and if they exhibit sociopathic tendencies should be rejected. Until non-empaths are removed from the halls of power the world will continue down a chaotic path.
