BTW Roman, do you understand that a single run to get 1 test requires a human patient with GBM willing to risk his hope for a vaccine on an unproven tech. How many of these do you think they have done?

Maybe Tracy????

Sept.22,

I have so far had four vaccines in King's College London. Luckily I have suffered no side effects to date. This is amazing. Each time I receive the injections I visualise an elixir of life entering my veins and coming to my aide. Helping me to heal and stay healthy. Keeping the demon at bay. It's a good feeling.

The trek to London can be pretty full on and my lovely companion, my mam is by my side every time. We normally fly out first thing in the morning and fly back late in the evening but on our last trip to London we decided to stay overnight so that we could rest a little. Thanks to Sabena Butterly for her 'Hooley in the Kitchen' which raised enough for us to book a nice hotel and relax before flying home.

I have two more vaccinations to get and that will be the optimal amount according to my consultant. The manufacturing company has advised us that they do have enough vaccines to supply me for potentially twelve years. This is huge. However each maintenance dose comes at a cost of £25k and so it is not something I am contemplating at present. Instead I am focussing on reaching my initial target and paying for the next two doses.

6 doses over the course of year 1 and then twice a year for maintenance thereafter -12 YEARS X2= 24.
So, 6+24 =30 doses of DCVax-L made from Tracy’s brain tumour tissue!
