I applaud you for your desire to defend flipper44 as one long timer to another as I believe we do much better by being united than divided and I see that as your goal. Not saying I agree 100% with maverick_1 on this or the way he presents it but I think the stock would have dropped to under $.05 and traded there for quite a while. That is just one opinion amongst many out there though. I believe Linda would have stopped all new enrollment again, that development at Flaskworks would have taken longer and she may have taken NWBO private or bought a lot more stock through Toucan and Cognate if everyone had sold as maverick_1 suggested. Linda, in my opinion, would have found a way through Toucan and friends to keep this going because of grants from NIH to UCLA and other grants to Flaskworks development.
The scientific evidence was strong enough by 2015 that support was likely to be found from a few even if time risk was nearly unsupportable. The board of directors contained strong financial supporters too and management are people of influence amongst wealthy friends. The issue is that only investors getting out back then and staying out or getting back in well after all the development period had occurred would be able to avoid time risk to capital through dilution, opportunity cost, bankruptcy or the company going private at a time their investment could not recover from. I agree with maverick_1 about this 100% and obviously so did thermo, to some extent anyway, even if I don’t believe the company was ever going to go bankrupt.
As to the way maverick_1 comes across, there is a reason for that many can not understand and, even if I don’t condone it, the reason for it should be understood. People or groups that get put down constantly are sometimes going to push back, especially when they succeed against the odds. The best way to help change that is to acknowledge the wrongs perpetrated and work to change the source of that pain. When Jesus acknowledged the ostracized Samaritan woman at the well and the tax collector Zacchaeus who had climbed up a tree to see him pass by, their lives changed dramatically. Imagine what the world would look like if we all could identify this same need in those around us and did more of this ourselves; ). Just a heads up, we are told that every nation, every tribe and every tongue will be represented as a kingdom of priests to reign with the returning King Of The World; ).
