WhiteSahara, I have to give credit to theGhost981. He mentioned a new comptroller hire on Reddit this morning. I located her profile on LinkedIn. I'm VERY impressed with Ana's background, but I think we ALL know that Lebby looks for experienced, top-shelf staff. The company needs a Workforce Moat to go with that Patent Moat. All of us would like to see Lightwave explode overnight, but it takes time to put this kind of an endeavor together. Optica next week and the next Q Filing is due in just over 3 weeks. I continue to believe LWLG will throw us a bone or two before the year is out.

Meanwhile, Jerome Powell tossed a wet towel on things again this morning. We may see another rate hike before the year is out. Interest rates are hurting the housing and automotive industries, but credit card companies are posting significant profits. The mortgage industry, not so much....

The high borrowing rates are hurting companies who need to borrow to grow. Fortunately, Lightwave doesn't have that problem, but some of their customers may....
