Just like I said it's plain reckless and lousy and yes more of a guesstimate which is unprofessional. You need to allocate extra time in case shit happens. The recent time line based on the scoop of work they laid out doesn't even have room for delay and actually even shorter than their deadline. Mid to late November how? if the publisher still working on it unless publisher or consultant managed to finish it early than the target timeframe. Or maybe they are just lying about all this delays and just holding the MAA submission to coincide with the MTD in court.
