Yankees Reportedly Will Pursue Reunion With Rising Star This Offseason In Free Agency

The starting rotation needs to be where the club looks to make moves first, along with adding a little more pop to the lineup. One player the club reportedly will pursue is current Texas Rangers and former Yankees hurler Jordan Montgomery, according to USA Today Sports' Bob Nightengale.

"Starter Jordan Montgomery’s stock has risen sharply with his stellar performance since joining the Rangers and should be in line for a fat payday with his former teams, the (St. Louis Cardinals) and Yankees, expected to pursue him.
