By Mining Report , September 10, 2023

Currently, the Chilean company is evaluating the potential of more than 50 thousand hectares of exploration mining concessions in different salt flats within the Salar de Maricunga and Pedernales.
Looking to boost domestic lithium production, the Chilean mining sector is exploring new alternatives, and RJR Lithium is at the forefront of this initiative. This technology allows for the production of lithium through Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE), without utilizing evaporation ponds, and recovering and reinjecting more than 90% of the extracted brine in its natural state, so the absorption of water resources are minimum.
