Of course, as an AVXL long, I wish your statement below was true. However, IMO the reality is that shorts are anything but trapped at this particular point in time, as more than likely 99.9% of all shares currently held short are in the black.
Now...if we can be so fortunate as to receive stellar EXCELLENCE data, followed by a quick increase in share price into the low teens range, followed by an NDA submission announcement...then maybe at that time a bunch of shorts will be trapped and we'll finally get to see them squirm!
