#Chile as usual, is at the forefront of thinking in #Latin America👉This time with regards to battery manufacturing.

🔋⚡️Chile could become the 🌍’s 2nd largest market behind the US, for storing renewable energy.

🔻🔻That is thanks to a government policy decision to support the development of that industry in the 2nd tranche of the energy transition, according to British consulting firm Interact Analysis.

🔴🔴Acc to the govt plan, some 51 renewable energy storage projects should be up and running btw 2024-2026 to add 3.9Gw capacity to the system.🔴🔴

Very smart decision👉👉 to create a niche down the value chain 👈👈, as opposed to adopting the Quixotic task of competing with China and others, in the increasingly crowded and uncertain batt production field.

🌱1st tranche of the energy transition 👉 focus on producing the highest quality lithium with the highest ESG standards.🌿

🌴2nd tranche: develop niches down the value chain, such as Chile’s renewable energy storage plan.
