“Anticipates” and “approximates” gives them the latitude to miss that range. We’re accustomed to missed deadlines, so we discount the possibility that we could just as easily “miss” the range by being early.

Yeah, I know many think they are committed to PR’ing the submission.

But prior to that August PR they were effectively stowing their tray tables, fastening their seatbelts, ensuring their phones were in airplane mode, and making sure their seat backs were in their upright position. Could final preparations have been completed ahead of schedule??? I’d say “yes”.

Why would they finally underpromise and over deliver? For the same reasons they’ve been filing their financial statements on time in recent history: new eyes are on them.

Not betting the bank on that because I have no more bank to bet, and because at this point it doesn’t matter because she’ll be comin’ around the mountain in due course.
