totally agree and like to respond in realy laymens/ german-english/ terms:
i often said, the rules on trading, the rules for the stock market goes far beyond the sole reasons (hank, you said so) for
companies , needs money, there are banks, there is the stock market
investors want participate on them, want to invest, not necessarily for huge gains, but staedy increases over a longer time and by 8% p.a. 10% p.a. nice to have some years with even more . . .
stock market:
company has a good product, knowledge, which others don't have. But those "others" can participate and without doing more or anything else, the can have a profit on the success of said company! They invest!
company can expand, and so on . . . .
NOW:
now come other ADDITIONAL rules as we have today. the initial function of the stock market is now about 50? 40? 30? %? the main reason NOW is making money on that "thing" and the rules are accordingly.
GREAT PROBLEMS for honest investors
GREAT PROBLEMS for companies: they need money, they need the stock market, they need to go in this shark tank!
GREAT SUCCESS for the nefarious actors - you name them
WE NEED A GREAT REFORM more a REVOLUTION
THE PUPLIC MUST KNOW ABOUT IT
THE RETAILERS, THE PENSION FUNDS and so on
P R O T E S T
problem: the "normal" puplic aren't interested enough in that thing,
but (i guess) there are enough normal people who invest nowerdays, at least the pension funds and so on : "enough puplic" who cares!
and
there could be much more people ("normal" people) in the market IF
1. it gets more fair
2. WITH NO CRIMINALS
because many avoid this market because of all the crime, conspiracies, fraud
many have heard about this situation/ fraud at some point in time because sometimes (like bernie madoff ) iis that blatant and obvious that even MSM "must" report about that!
